Position Summary:
The Driller assistant is responsible for safely and efficiently performing various types of drilling duties. Also assist the driller in all drilling needs. This position requires a person with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate good safety practices and have a positive attitude.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety regulations and quality standards set by company.
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Safely use hand tools and equipment to perform the following job functions:
- Use hand tools to drill for vehicle part holes, threads and slots.
- Clean up work area.
- Maintain equipment and tools for a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the specifications of the customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
·Previous experience in drilling required.
·Ability to read a tape measure is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
