Part-Time Housekeeper / Cleaner – RV Parks & Cabins
Overview
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper / Cleaner to help keep our RV park properties clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests.
This is a hands-on position focused on cleaning restrooms, common areas, our gym, cabins, laundry, and other guest facilities. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, notices the details, and can work independently without constant supervision.
Schedule is approximately 3 days per week. Exact days and hours may vary based on cabin turnovers and property needs.
MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL BETWEEN MULTIPLE RV PARK LOCATIONS IN THE PORT ARTHUR AREA.
Pay
$16–$17 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest restrooms, showers, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and other facilities
- Clean and maintain the fitness center/gym
- Complete cabin turnovers between guests
- Change sheets, towels, and other linens
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize sheets, towels, and other park linens
- Complete guest laundry services when requested
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other surfaces
- Empty trash and maintain clean trash areas
- Restock restroom, cabin, and cleaning supplies
- Perform basic cleaning around pool and outdoor common areas as needed
- Keep laundry rooms and other shared guest facilities clean and organized
- Report maintenance problems, damage, or supply needs to management
- Travel between multiple nearby RV park locations as needed
- Assist with other light housekeeping and property-cleaning duties
What We're Looking For
Previous housekeeping, hotel, residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and shows up when scheduled
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
- Able to work efficiently without sacrificing cleanliness
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to manage multiple cleaning tasks and priorities
- Friendly and professional around guests
- Comfortable being on their feet, bending, lifting, carrying supplies, and performing physical cleaning work
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors
- Able to travel between multiple locations in the Port Arthur area
Reliable transportation is required.
