We are seeking a results-driven Career Advisor who is passionate about helping women secure meaningful employment. The primary focus of this role is job placement, supporting adult students and career seekers in obtaining stable, self-sustaining employment through personalized coaching, job readiness training, and strong employer partnerships.
The ideal candidate loves working with job seekers, thrives in a metrics-driven environment, has a proven record of placing clients into jobs, and understands the full continuum of workforce development from job search preparation to post-placement follow-up. This role requires creativity, persistence, and exceptional relationship-building skills to guide women toward employment success.

Lead with a placement-focused approach, ensuring clients are actively connected to viable job opportunities that align with their skills and career goals.

Develop employment action plans that support job search, placement, and retention.

Provide one-on-one career advising to help clients identify goals, overcome barriers, and prepare for the workforce.

Conduct resume and cover letter workshops, mock interviews, and LinkedIn optimization sessions to strengthen client competitiveness.

Facilitate job readiness and employability skills workshops focused on real-world application and employer expectations.

Track job placements, document outcomes, and maintain accurate data in career management systems.
Client Engagement & Support

Build strong, supportive relationships with clients through individualized meetings and follow-ups to ensure successful job placement and retention.

Provide post-placement support to help clients maintain employment and navigate career advancement opportunities.

Coordinate referrals to education, financial empowerment, and other supportive services to address barriers to employment.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in career advising, staffing, recruitment, or workforce development with direct job placement outcomes.

Proven success in meeting or exceeding placement and employment retention goals.

Strong knowledge of resume development, interview coaching, and modern job search strategies.

Experience supporting adult learners and individuals facing barriers to employment.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, online job search platforms, and CRM or case management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Career Counseling, Workforce Development, Business, or a related field.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Knowledge of financial wellness and self-sufficiency strategies is a plus.
