- Work shifts from 7a–3p x 2 / 7a–7p x 2, including every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday).
- Be on call twice a week and every third weekend, with a 24-hour call required on Saturdays and Sundays every third weekend.
- Participate in a 13-week contract with the possibility of first-time travelers and locals accepted at the same rate.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system.
- Circulate and scrub within the Main OR, handling cases such as ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro.
- Manage adult open heart and general cases when no hearts are available.
- Set up equipment and review cases for the next day, especially for night OR travel contracts.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of current acute care OR experience.
- Charge experience and EPIC experience preferred.
- Proficiency in handling trauma-related cases and multiple service lines.
- Skills in procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, appendectomy, and more.
- Active NJ or Compact license required at the time of submission.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Submit work history and skills checklist for scrub and circulate roles.
- Compliance with facility requirements, including completion of labs within 48 hours of signing and de-escalation training for specific roles.
- Adherence to scheduling agreements without requesting changes once onsite.
- Ability to float within skillset as required by census and staffing needs.
