Position Details
- Position: Full-Time Dock Worker
- Shift: Monday-Friday | 3:30PM Start Time
- Pay: Starting at $23.50/hour
Job Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Loading, unloading, and staging skids and customer freight
- Building loads using freight handling tools to prepare multiple trailers for departure
- Ensuring accurate freight inventory using handheld scanning technology
- Coordinating safe and efficient trailer loading
- Operating a forklift approximately 90% of the shift
- Recouping and repairing pallets/freight as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness of dock platforms, aprons, trailers, and yard areas
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to perform freight handling duties using manual pallet jacks and forklifts
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or within a team environment
- Stable and consistent work history
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be willing and able to pass a physical and background check
- Valid driver’s license highly preferred
