Position Overview
We are hiring a Master Cabinet Maker to oversee:
* Production execution
* Quality control systems
* Shop standards
* Scheduling & workflow
* Finishing quality
* Process improvement

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
✔ Minimum 10 years experience as a professional cabinet maker
✔ Proven mastery of cabinetry construction techniques
✔ Advanced knowledge of finishing systems (lacquer, conversion varnish, stains, paint-grade, clear finishes)
✔ Deep understanding of materials: plywood, MDF, HDF, hardwoods, laminates, veneers
✔ Ability to read architectural drawings and shop drawings fluently
✔ Experience supervising or leading production teams
✔ Willingness to travel (local and occasional out-of-state inspections / installations)
✔ Strong attention to detail — alignment, reveals, joints, edge treatments, finishing consistency

* Inspect cabinetry at every stage (cutting, assembly, finishing, final)
* Ensure tight tolerances and consistency

2. Production Oversight
* Coordinate workflow from raw material to finished product
* Improve shop efficiency
* Maintain production schedules
* Prevent bottlenecks
* Collaborate with project managers
3. Finishing Mastery
* Oversee finishing department
* Ensure flawless surface preparation
* Control color consistency and sheen levels
* Maintain dust-free finishing standards
* Ensure premium final presentation
4. Process & Systems Control
* Implement repeatable systems
* Standardize production procedures
* Maintain tool calibration and equipment quality
* Improve productivity without sacrificing craftsmanship
5. Travel & Field Quality Checks
* Visit installation sites when required
* Inspect completed installations
* Coordinate corrections if needed
* Represent the company professionally on site

Compensation
Base Salary: $65,000 – $100,000 per year
(Compensation based on demonstrated skill level and leadership capacity)
