American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring at least 3 years of ER experience, Cerner proficiency, and multiple AHA certifications.

Emergency Department (ED) setting in a fast-paced hospital environment
-
Patient population includes urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
-
Critical care skills utilized include medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tube management
-
3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, rotating every other weekend
-
36 hours per week

Cerner EMR experience required

13-week contract
-
Active RN license (standard or compact) with no pending status

Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC

Minimum 3 years of ER experience required, with at least 2 years in a US hospital setting

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired

Cerner EMR experience required

US Social Security Number required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs, with a focus on safety, quality, and positive patient experience

All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
