Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly in both Spanish and English, establishing a friendly and professional rapport to highlight jewelry features and craftsmanship
- Assist customers with selecting jewelry pieces that meet their preferences and needs
- Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized jewelry displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries
- Educate customers about jewelry care, features, and benefits
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Prior retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry, grocery stores, or similar environments but required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
