The Last Frontier Poker Room and the New Phoenix Casino are accepting applications for a Full-Time Lead Housekeeper.

The Lead Housekeeper is proactive and detail-oriented. They will assist the Departmental Manager in all housekeeping operations across our casino properties. This vital role involves managing cleaning teams, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The Lead Housekeeper will lead by example, supervise staff, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Assigns work to Housekeepers, ensuring that all areas of the Company are sufficiently cleaned and maintained during the shift
- Makes regular rounds of public areas of the Company, adjusting work assignments as needed
- Ensures that supply carts and closets are stocked; order supplies
- Trains new employees to work in an efficient and safe manner
- Coordinates maintenance repair of fixtures, equipment, etc
- Cleans and restocks restrooms
- Picks up trash, transport to compactor
- Vacuums as needed
- Wipes down, polishes and removes debris from gaming machines
- Cleans break areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing tables
- Non routine clean up of spills, broken items
- Schedules and performs cleaning of areas that may contain sensitive information
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a WA Food Handlers Permit
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within hospitality or commercial settings
- Supervisory or team management experience in industrial or hotel housekeeping environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety regulations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and customer service interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Tentative Shifts to Fill: Wednesday - Saturday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
Starting wage: $23.00 with a potential wage increase after a 90 Day Performance Review.
