Experienced Tax Preparer Wanted (CPA or EA)
Location: North San Diego County
Our well-established tax office is seeking an experienced CPA or EA to join our team. We are a busy, client-focused practice offering income tax preparation, financial planning, and payroll services.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will prepare approximately 400 individual, small business corporate returns, and 1041 tax returns during tax season, with additional returns prepared throughout the year and by extension deadlines. Responsibilities include:
- Meeting with clients and gathering tax-related information
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns (primarily individual, with some trust/business returns)
- Assisting with tax return submittals and day-to-day office operations
Qualifications:
- Active CPA or EA license
- Minimum 5 years of tax preparation experience
- Strong client service and communication skills
- Familiarity with Lacerte software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
