The Mechanical Remanufacturing Technician is responsible for disassembling, inspecting, rebuilding, and remanufacturing mechanical equipment using updated components and engineering revisions. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and a high level of attention to detail to ensure all assemblies meet quality and performance standards.
The ideal candidate has experience with complex mechanical assembly, precision measurement tools, and quality inspections in a manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial, or heavy equipment environment.
Shift: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Training Schedule: First two weeks will be conducted on day shift for onboarding and hands-on training.

Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and remanufacture mechanical equipment according to established procedures and engineering specifications.

Install updated components and engineering change revisions into existing equipment.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.

Perform detailed inspections of components and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other inspection equipment.

Document inspection results and report any discrepancies or non-conforming conditions.

Verify fit, form, and function of rebuilt assemblies prior to release.

Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve problems.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity.

3+ years of mechanical assembly, equipment rebuild, remanufacturing, or related technician experience.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation.

Experience using precision inspection tools such as:

Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, tolerances, and quality inspection processes.

Familiarity with engineering change orders (ECOs) and product revisions.

Metal fabrication or machining experience.

Experience working with tight tolerances and precision components.

Ability to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
