The Brickle Group is looking for a Machine Operator Helper to join our team on 2nd Shift!
In this role, you’ll support our Machine Operators with a variety of production tasks, including tending card feedboxes, doffing frames, and assisting with coning, labeling, and packaging.
$17.56 - $21.07 per hour | 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:15 PM
What You'll Do
- Tend the Card machine feedboxes by filling them with fiber.
- Assist the operator by removing full bobbins and replacing them with empty bobbins.
- Assist the operator with weighing carts and recording data.
- Assist with coning by labeling and palletizing cones.
- Keep your work area neat, clean, and organized.
- Complete work within the expected timeframe of each production job.
- Communicate daily with the Supervisor regarding any issues or concerns.
- Identify quality issues both incoming to the operation and created by the operation.
- Follow all safety rules, including Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment, including hearing and eye protection.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who is dependable and punctual.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested and a varied shift as business needs arise.
- Manufacturing experience or knowledge is a plus, but not required.
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $17.56 - $21.07 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM - 10:15 PM
