Clifton Centreville Medical Associates is a family medicine practice seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. Our practice emphasizes preventative and integrative medicine, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care through a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Patient Care
- Perform patient triage, intake, and clinical assessments including vital signs and medical history updates
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist the physician during clinical visits and procedures
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
- Perform EKGs and other in-office diagnostic testing
- Monitor patient status and communicate clinical findings to the physician
- Coordinate patient care and follow-up as needed
Patient Education
- Provide education on preventative care, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Answer patient questions and address concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
Clinical Operations
- Maintain exam room readiness and ensure proper infection control and sterilization procedures
- Assist with clinical procedures and ensure proper documentation of testing and results
- Support quality patient flow and efficient clinic operations
Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Accurately document patient assessments, procedures, and care plans in the EHR system
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with patient chart management and clinical documentation
Qualifications
- BLS Certification required
- CPR Certification required
- 1+ year experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
- Ability to perform patient assessments and support physicians in a primary care setting
- Strong communication and patient education skills
