Position Summary
The Warehouse Operator – Level II is responsible for executing day-to-day operations within a cGMP-compliant warehouse environment. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with company procedures and regulatory guidelines. This particular position will have a focus on distributing materials including warehouse picking / shipper packing. Prior experience in this area is required for consideration.
Organizational Position
This role reports to the Operations Manager or designee.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, package and ship materials in compliance with regulatory, client, and company requirements.
- Process a minimum number of shipments / shippable units per day.
- Accurately pick, stage, and issue materials for production or customer orders.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components in accordance with internal procedures and cGMP standards.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through timely and correct data entry into ERP.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for materials, including temperature-controlled and quarantine areas.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization according to safety and 5S principles.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and maintain accurate records for all material movements.
- Support quality investigations (e.g., deviations, non-conformances) as needed.
- Escalate issues related to materials, documentation, or compliance to site leadership.
- Participate in cGMP and safety training sessions; contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment through active communication and support.
- Other duties as assigned according to the changing needs of the business.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- 1.5+ years of data entry associated with picking, packing, or distribution.
- Ability to follow written procedures and complete documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a regulated environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of material handling practices, cGMP, GDP.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Familiarity with warehouse or ERP systems.
Training and Compliance
Successful completion of all required training programs, including compliance, safety, and role-specific training, is a condition of employment. The employee must complete such training within established timelines and maintain ongoing compliance with training requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
