Position: Security Officer (Nightlife & Event Security)
Pay: Starting Pay $15/hour upwards to $25/hour
Location: Multiple Locations Throughout Metro Atlanta
Shift Hours: Primarily Friday and Saturday Nights, 9:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Requirements Before Hire
- Must obtain and provide a local criminal history record/background check prior to being assigned to any worksite.
- Must own and maintain a clean black polo shirt, black dress pants, black shoes, and a black suit jacket.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and late hours.
- Must successfully complete an in-person interview and fitness assessment.

Job Summary
We are seeking professional Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and clients at various nightlife and event venues throughout Metro Atlanta.
This position requires individuals who can maintain a strong presence, communicate effectively, handle difficult situations professionally, and remain calm under pressure. Successful candidates will be dependable, physically capable, observant, and customer-service oriented.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas.
- Verify identification and enforce venue policies.
- Patrol assigned areas and remain visible throughout the shift.
- Identify and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
- De-escalate conflicts and assist with removing disruptive individuals when necessary.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents.
- Work closely with venue management, staff, law enforcement, and fellow security personnel.
- Complete incident reports and required documentation.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Prior nightclub, bar, event, or venue security experience.
- Georgia Weapons Carry License (for armed positions, if applicable).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform security-related physical duties when necessary.
- Ability to work in crowded, high-energy environments.
Additional Information
- This is an in-person position.
- Most assignments occur during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Additional shifts and opportunities may become available based on performance and client needs.
