OPEN-RANK PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE OR INSTRUCTION – EXERCISE SCIENCE
The Department of Health, Sport, and Human Physiology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Iowa invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Practice or Instruction starting in August 2026.
The faculty member will coordinate and teach laboratory courses in Applied Exercise Physiology, Exercise Testing and Prescription, and Behavioral and Clinical Health Assessment and possibly other courses in their area of expertise. This position requires in-person instruction on campus in Iowa City, Monday through Friday.
The rank at which the finalist will be hired will be based on experience and record of achievement; salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
