Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular training and inspections.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth transitions between teams during busy hours while maintaining high service standards.
- Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain loyal guests.
- Monitor customer feedback actively to address concerns promptly and improve overall satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health protocols and safety procedures across the restaurant.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as RPower for transaction processing and sales analysis.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams, conducting staff training & development programs, and leading by example.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, cost analysis, and food production planning.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications relevant to hospitality management.
- Previous roles involving restaurant management at hotels or banquet facilities are highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage multiple priorities, and resolve conflicts effectively.
