Come Join our Team at HPH! We are looking for Experienced Registry ED Nurses to join on our team.
Registry RN'S that can provide professional nursing services in the treatment and care of patients. Assesses, plan, evaluate, implement, and document the nursing process of care delivery. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and delivery of patient care. Consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Must be able to meet Registry expectations.
Previous Emergency Department experience required.
Plan, Provide, professional Nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
- Communicate and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to develop a plan of care to ensure patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Chart observations and activities related to patient care in electronic health record.
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population using critical thinking skills, advocacy abilities, and ethical approaches.
- Guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition and reports changes to the physician.
- Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, infection control and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
- Educate patient/family prior to discharge regarding the diagnosis, medication and discharge instructions.
- Collect blood specimens by venipuncture or micro techniques for laboratory analysis necessary for patient treatment and diagnosis.
- Performs various duties/roles related to Emergency Preparedness/Disaster.
- Receives EMS telemetry runs via telephone or radio and follows standard operating procedures for Region 11.
Requirements: 1 or more years of ER Nursing experience.
- Current RN Licensure
- CPR Certification
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ACLS and PALS required within 1 year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52.00 - $55.00 per hour
