Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Volumetric Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized commercial trucks equipped with volumetric mixers to deliver and dispense concrete to various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of materials necessary for concrete finishing.
Duties
- Safely operate and maneuver volumetric trucks, dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and other heavy construction machinery in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols
- Load, transport, and unload construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, rebar, and other aggregates to designated project sites
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and paving equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Assist with concrete forming, concrete pumping, screeds, rebar installation, and concrete finishing tasks as needed on-site
- Follow detailed instructions for paving operations including asphalt paving, concrete pouring, and concrete finishing techniques
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations during all phases of operation, including site inspections and equipment handling
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, equipment usage, fuel consumption, and safety inspections for compliance purposes
Qualifications
- Must have prior volumetric truck experience
- Knowledge and understanding of concrete mix designs for various projects
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, concrete mixers, or paving equipment in a construction environment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material quantities accurately
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, loaders, screeds, concrete pumps, and rebar installation tools
- Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and concrete finishing processes
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site supervisors
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
