Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to guests’ tables.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed.
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed during bussing and food delivery processes.
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including floors, tables, and station stations throughout shifts.
- Communicate effectively with team members using clear, friendly language to ensure smooth service flow.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order accuracy when required.
Skills
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and guests.
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience with banquet service, hotel hospitality, or culinary environments enhances your ability to excel.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude that creates memorable guest interactions.
