This position is a very fast paced & physical job and we need "boots on the ground" capability and mentality!! You'd be on your feet moving about throughout your shift.
Schedule for full-time is 40 hours per week: Shifts would align with the store needs, 10am to 6pm Tuesday thru Saturday. Eligible for all benefits first of the month following 60 full calendar days of successful continuous employment.

As a Donation Attendant you will work closely with other team members to provide donors/customers with a positive donation/shopping experience at our store in alignment with the mission of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul. You will be asked to work on our donation dock, unloading items from donors' vehicles and loosely sorting them. You would interact with customers by straightening, stocking or pulling items once trained for the Salesfloor if needed during downtime. It's a fun opportunity to gain retail experience in a thrift store environment.
Education and Experience
· High School or equivalent GED
· Proficient Reading and Math skills for retail sales transactions (counting currency/change)
· English proficiency is required; bilingual is a plus
· Previous experience working in retail or as a cashier is a PLUS, but will train
- RELIABILITY with exceptional attendance and good customer service skills
· High level of professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with team members and store customers
· Ability to remain calm and focused during stressful situations
- Ability to physically perform the key functions of the position
-Must pass a background check
- Must have reliable access to transportation to work
This is a physical, on your feet type of job! The employee is continuously standing and walking; and frequently bending and twisting; reaching above shoulders with hands and arms; pushing/pulling carts and lifting merchandise and objects up to 25-75 lbs . The employee must be able to distinguish color tags. Consistent, reliable attendance is a Must!!
