Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various client locations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Handle floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of hard floors using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as required
- Conduct outdoor cleaning duties such as trash removal, window washing, and maintaining outdoor areas when necessary
- Ensure proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist with janitorial responsibilities including sanitation of restrooms and kitchen areas
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or related cleaning roles; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when required
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Outdoor work experience is preferred for roles involving exterior maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus
