Connect Staffing is hiring a Gas Cylinder Filler for a welding supply manufacturing plant in Stanton, CA. This is a temp-to-hire evening position paying $20.60/hr, Monday–Friday. In this role, you will fill high-pressure gas cylinders following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inspect cylinders before and after filling to ensure they are safe and ready for distribution. This is a stable schedule with no weekends.

Responsibilities

Fill high-pressure gas cylinders according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a welding supply manufacturing environment.

Confirm test dates on cylinders before filling and flag any cylinders that require retesting or repair.

Replace shoulder labels on cylinders as part of the preparation process.

Perform ring and odor tests to verify cylinder integrity prior to filling.

Load filled cylinders onto storage areas and put away incoming cylinder stock.

Identify cylinders that need maintenance or are out of compliance and set them aside for review.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a welding supply, industrial gas, chemical, or hazardous materials environment.

Experience performing quality checks or basic pre-use equipment inspections on the production floor.

Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.

Ability to read and follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions in English.
