Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Night Auditor to join our team! This vital role ensures the smooth operation of overnight front desk activities, maintains accurate financial records, and delivers exceptional guest service during the night shift. Duties
- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth
- Conduct nightly audit procedures to verify all financial transactions and reconcile accounts using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Prepare detailed reports on daily revenue, guest accounts, and operational activities for management review
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety checks, and managing access control for staff and visitors
- Respond to emergency situations following hotel emergency procedures with calmness and efficiency
- Balance cash drawers, process payments, and ensure accurate record-keeping for all financial transactions
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, especially night audit functions
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or comparable platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for client communication and guest relations
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hospitality reservation systems
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills via phone or in person
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience that demonstrates adaptability in a fast-paced environment
