Maintenance Technician – Apartments & Commercial Properties
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position services apartment communities and select office buildings throughout the Coeur d’Alene area.
Responsibilities Include:
General Maintenance & Work Orders
- Repairing and replacing appliances
- Patching and painting walls
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues such as outlets and switches
- Hanging blinds and other fixtures
- Locating and repairing plumbing leaks
- Completing resident maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Other maintenance duties as assigned
Apartment Turns & Renovations
- Preparing units for new residents
- Hanging and adjusting doors
- Installing countertops
- Building and repairing window screens
- Installing light fixtures, hardware, and trim
- Painting, repairs, and general renovation work
- Additional turnover and renovation tasks as needed
Seasonal & Exterior Maintenance
- Snow removal during winter months
- Exterior repairs and upkeep
- Grounds maintenance and property appearance
- Assisting with seasonal projects
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required
- Ability to use a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and clock-in/clock-out systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Comfortable with stairs, ladders, and working on your feet throughout the day
- Ability to work effectively with our maintenance team and on-site staff
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
We’re looking for a go-getter who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Maintenance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
