You will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our residents by transporting residents safely and as scheduled. Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Provide transportation to activities and appointments by driving the company tram.
Greet residents with a happy and friendly demeanor, and ensure their comfort during their trip
Ensure residents find comfort with the heat or air level, and if the music played on their trip is of their liking. Maintain flexibility in hospitality as you adapt to their needs
Routinely clean and sanitize the bus between trips, and at the beginning and end of your shift
Responsible for the daily inspections and maintenance of the community vehicle (cleanliness gas, oil, coolant, tire pressure, etc.)
Keep vehicle log documentations up-to-date with high level of accuracy
Assist with other department activities when you are not scheduled to drive
Contribute to the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community
Interact positively with residents to maintain high levels of resident satisfaction
Demonstrate strong professionalism and integrity as a representative of the community
Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules and regulations
Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
Required Skills and Qualifications
Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to understand and communicate written and verbal directions
Regular attendance, reliability and punctuality is necessary to meet the needs of applicants, new and current residents, guests and outside vendors during regularly scheduled hours
Ability to work nights and weekends, upon request
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Required to work on an on-call basis
Outstanding customer service skills
Well organized with excellent attention to detail
Aptitude to work independently with excellent time management skills
Must possess current license with appropriate endorsement or ability to obtain the same
Must have and maintain a driving record that meets the facility's vehicle use policy, which will be provided
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to read a map and plan a route before departure
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Prior experience in driving residents and company vehicles is preferred
Fluent in English, verbal and written
Tools
Use of cleaning products and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms and mops are required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stoop; kneel; climb stairs; crawl; lift, push or pull objects (up to 20 pounds); talk; and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; stand; use hands, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate with internal and external customers.

Working Conditions
This position will be required to work more than 40 hours per week, and on any day, including but not limited to weekends and holidays as necessary. While performing the duties of the job, the employee works in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including inclement weather. The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. This position is subject to callback during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.).
