Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Confidence working independently with K-12 students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress-monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Understanding of IEP process and legal compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs across grade levels
- Deliver targeted individual and group therapy to address a variety of disorders
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidiscipline teams
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, promoting best practices for student growth
- Provide training or consultation to staff and parents as needed
