As an Experienced Welder/Fabricator, you'll fabricate and weld structural steel components from blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining NIX's quality and safety standards.

Our ideal candidate will:
- Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components using MIG welding processes
- Interpret structural drawings, fabrication prints, weld symbols, and work orders with minimal supervision
- Lay out, fit, tack, and assemble structural steel to precise specifications
- Produce high-quality welds that meet company and customer standards
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
- Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, saws, ironworkers, and other fabrication equipment
- Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Assist with mentoring less experienced team members when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in job-related training and continuously develop welding and fabrication skills
- Follow all company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment
- Contribute to team success by assisting with related duties as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of structural welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Strong MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and measuring tools
- Experience fabricating structural steel, columns, beams, platforms, stairs, railings, or similar projects
- Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
