Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent critical thinking abilities, and experience caring for patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and monitor emergency medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
