AFC Mortgage Group is a fast-growing Connecticut mortgage brokerage built on relationships. Our growth comes from realtor partners, referrals, open houses, and showing up for the people who send us business. We're looking for the person who keeps us in front of them — in person, consistently, and with a personal touch.
The role
This is a feet-on-the-street, in-person role — not a desk job. You'll be the face of AFC out in the market: dropping off closing gifts, doing office pop-bys, running our presence at open houses and client/partner events, and making sure our top realtor partners hear from us regularly. If you love being out and about, you're great with people, and you take pride in the little touches that make someone feel remembered, this is for you.
What you'll do
- Office pop-bys and in-person visits to realtor partners and referral sources
- Coordinate and deliver closing gifts, handwritten notes, and partner gifts — keep them stocked and ready to go
- Represent AFC at open houses, client events, and partner functions (some evenings/weekends)
- Help plan and run our events (investor dinners, client appreciation, partner mixers)
- Keep our realtor-partner relationships warm — track who we owe a touch, and make sure nobody falls off
- Handle in-person and local admin that can't be done remotely (drop-offs, pickups, errands, supplies)
- Log partner activity and touches in our CRM so the team has visibility
Who you are
- Outgoing, warm, and genuinely good with people — you make a strong first impression
- Highly organized and reliable — you own the follow-through without being chased
- Local to the Fairfield County, CT area with a reliable car and clean license (mileage reimbursed)
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including some evenings/weekends for events
- Self-starter who can work independently out in the field
- Bonus: real estate, mortgage, hospitality, or events background
Logistics & comp
- Based in/around Fairfield, CT — this is an in-person, local role
- Part-time to start (~20–25 hrs/week) with a clear path to full-time as you prove it out
- $22–28/hr depending on experience, plus mileage reimbursement and an events/gifting budget
- Flexible hours around event schedules
