$16-$18
Job Description
This role works in the Order Processing department to accurately pick, pack, label, and load customer orders using a modern, AI-assisted inventory system. You will move throughout the warehouse with a cart and tablet, fulfill multiple orders at once, and support packaging and shipping operations to ensure orders leave the facility accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
-
Work in the Order Processing department to support the full order fulfillment process from picking to loading.
-
Use a cart equipped with a tablet to follow detailed instructions on what items to pick, how many to pick, and where they are located in the warehouse.
-
Pick products for up to 12 orders at a time, placing items into separate totes on the cart, with each tote representing a different customer order.
-
Follow guidance from the AI-driven inventory system that optimizes pick paths and assigns products located close to each other to improve efficiency and pick rates.
-
Move picked totes to the conveyor system and load them so they can be transported to the Packaging area.
-
Work in the Packaging area by standing at a conveyor, removing products from totes, and placing them into the correct boxes.
-
Follow the automated packaging system that lights up a cart with boxes to indicate which box size and location to use for each order.
-
Assemble boxes, place items inside, run boxes through a tape machine, and apply accurate labels to each package.
-
Load finished packages into UPS trucks by standing inside the truck and stacking boxes as they come down the conveyor.
-
Meet or exceed productivity expectations, including a key performance indicator of approximately 100 lines per hour, where one line may represent a single item.
-
Rotate between different roles within the packaging area approximately every two hours to support all aspects of the process.
-
Participate in orientation, safety training, and hands-on training with a trainer, first by shadowing and then being shadowed while you work.
-
Follow all safety rules and facility policies, including restrictions on cell phones and earphones on the production floor.
-
Perform frequent walking throughout the shift, typically 3–5 miles per day, while pushing a cart and handling products.
-
Lift items up to 35 pounds individually and use team lifting procedures for items over 35 pounds.
-
Support shipping schedules by working in alignment with UPS pickup times at 9 a.m., 4 p.m., and 7 p.m.
-
Remain flexible with overtime requirements, including working extended hours and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Essential Skills

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely and participate in team lifts for heavier items.
-
Experience or comfort working in warehouse distribution, warehouse production, shipping and receiving, general warehouse, or general labor environments.
-
Ability to follow instructions on a tablet or RF scanner and accurately pick items according to system prompts.
-
Strong attention to detail to ensure correct items, quantities, and labels for each order.
-
Reliability and willingness to meet productivity targets such as 100 lines per hour.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent role rotation within the department.
-
Comfort working overtime, including up to 50–58 hours per week when required.
Work Environment

Openings exist on both first and second shifts, and overtime can vary week to week, with total hours sometimes reaching 50–58 per week. Saturdays may be optional at times and may be mandatory at other times, depending on business needs. The facility uses AI-driven inventory systems, tablets on picking carts, conveyors, automated light-guided box selection, tape machines, and UPS truck loading areas. Training includes a 1.5-hour orientation and safety session, followed by hands-on shadowing with a trainer.
