Full-Time - Hybrid Schedule 2-3 days in office
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join a well-established and collaborative legal team representing employers, carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured organizations in a wide range of employment-related matters.
This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution, including litigation, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal.
Manage and evaluate labor and employment matters while developing effective legal strategies
Draft, review, and respond to legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement agreements
Draft agreements related to employee conduct, workplace policies, and regulatory compliance
Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment
Handle discovery-related motions and responses
Provide strategic legal guidance regarding employment law compliance and risk management
Collaborate with clients and internal legal teams to drive favorable case outcomes
Active admission to practice law in the State of California
5+ years of experience handling Labor & Employment matters
Strong litigation experience, including court appearances and depositions
Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and employment-related agreements
Excellent analytical, research, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Experience representing employers, carriers, TPAs, or self-insured entities
Trial preparation and arbitration experience
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
