We are seeking experienced, bilingual Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing home care team as an RN Home Care Supervisor.
This position is ideal for experienced home care nurses looking to supplement their income, maintain flexibility around an existing schedule, or work in a rewarding part-time role that offers autonomy and meaningful patient interaction.
The RN Supervisor will be responsible for supervising Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) providing care in clients' homes, conducting required client assessment visits, supervisory visits, telephone contacts, completing annual competency evaluations, and assisting with orientation of newly hired aides.
Because this position requires independent field work, candidates must have prior home care experience and be comfortable managing visits.

Responsibilities
- Conduct required in-home visits for personal care clients
- Complete required client telephone contacts
- Supervise and support Certified Home Health Aides in the field
- Complete annual Home Health Aide competency evaluations
- Conduct orientations for newly hired Home Health Aides
- Ensure compliance with care plans, agency policies, and state regulations
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and agency staff
- Identify and address aide performance concerns when necessary
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- Bilingual Spanish and English REQUIRED
- Previous home care supervisory experience PREFERRED
- Previous RN home care experience REQUIRED
- Knowledge of New Jersey home care regulations and standards of practice
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
Service Areas
Current coverage areas primarily include:
- West Hudson communities, including Kearny and Harrison
- Newark and surrounding areas in Essex County
- Paterson and surrounding areas in Passaic County
As our agency continues to grow, opportunities may expand into additional service areas throughout Northern New Jersey.
Compensation
Flexible compensation options based on assignment type and scheduling needs.
Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Per-Visit Rate: $45.00 - $115.00 per visit
Visit rates vary depending on the type of visit or assignment including:
- In-home client case monitoring, reassessments, and SOC initial assessments
- In-home CHHA supervisory visits
- Annual CHHA competency evaluations
- New CHHA orientations
- Special supervisory assignments
- Quality and compliance-related visits
