Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of maintaining comfortable, safe, and efficient building environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, mechanical systems, electrical components, and building automation systems. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on HVAC/R systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC system reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems repair issues involving plumbing, welding, and equipment repair techniques.
- Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades to improve performance or meet new building requirements.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards such as EPA regulations.
Skills
- Proven construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation and repair.
- Ability to read schematics and electrical wiring diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in equipment troubleshooting across refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, welding equipment, electrical testing devices (such as ohmmeters), and building automation systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and property maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license (including <PERSON> driver if applicable) with a clean driving record for field service assignments.
- Certifications such as EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical diagnostics are preferred.
- At least 2 Years of On-The-Job experience

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
