The Role
We are seeking dedicated Neuro Support Specialists to implement specialized behavioral interventions, support clients with ID/D and provide data tracking and reporting. This role is designed for caregivers with the skills working in crisis situations, crisis intervention training, behavioral certifications, or RBT credentials who are ready to work with higher-acuity clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement sensory diets, basic to advanced de-escalation strategies, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Identify triggers/underlying conditions and document antecedent-behavior-consequence (ABC) data
- Support clients with dual diagnoses (IDD + mental health conditions)
- Model intervention techniques and mentor Direct Support and junior Neuro Support staff
- Execute Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
- Provide ADL support including hygiene, dressing, feeding, and light household tasks as needed
- Implement crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques per agency protocols
- Support clients during community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Treat every client with dignity, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavior Analysis preferred
- Specialized Crisis Prevention Certification preferred (CPI Blue Card, Safety-Care, or Mandt)
- DSP 1 & DSP 2 Certificates a strong plus
- Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Certification preferred
- CPR/First Aid, Advanced Behavioral Intervention Training preferred
- Minimum 1+ year experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
- Valid CA Driver’s License preferred
- Strong written documentation and data collection skills
- Compassionate heart, calm demeanor, and ability to remain composed during high-acuity situations
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (commensurate with certifications, experience, and education)
- Full-time, Part-time, and Contract opportunities
- Expected hours: 20–40 per week

Schedule
- 4-hour and 8-hour shifts
- Morning, day, and evening and night shifts available.
- Monday–Friday, weekends as needed.
- On-call and holiday shifts available.
