Supplemental Health Care is hiring Special Education Teachers to support a partnering school district in Henry County for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to join a district preparing for growth, including new behavior support classrooms.
Quick Details:
- Pay: $36 to $38 an hour
- Assignment: August 3, 2026 – May 26, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time (7.5 hours/day, ~37.5 hours/week)
- Hours: Typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (varies by school)
- Openings: 5
Classroom Focus:
- Autism self-contained classrooms
- Adapted curriculum
- General curriculum special education
- New behavior support program
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement IEPs and individualized lesson plans
- Support students with autism, behavioral needs, and multiple disabilities
- Monitor and track student progress using data-driven strategies
- Apply strong classroom and behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with school teams, administrators, and families
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Educator License
- Georgia PSC Certification
- Adapted Curriculum certification required for applicable roles
- Strong knowledge of Data collection and progress monitoring, IEP development and implementation and behavior management strategies
