Job Title: Floater/Assistant Teacher

Hours: 10:00am - 6:30pm
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Your Role in Our Academy
As a Floater Teacher, you’ll support multiple classrooms and help create a safe, engaging, and positive atmosphere for children. You’ll bring our learning environment to life by:
- Encouraging Exploration: Assisting with fun, age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and learning
- Creating Meaningful Connections: Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Supporting Daily Care: Helping with routines such as supervision, diapering, potty training, and transitions
- Maintaining Standards: Following all licensing regulations and center policies with professionalism and accountability
- Making a Lasting Impact: Supporting children during key developmental stages and helping them feel confident and cared for
What You Bring
We’re looking for individuals who are caring, adaptable, and team-oriented. Ideal candidates will have:
- Completion of 45 DCF training hours (preferred)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- CDA or Early Childhood Education background (a plus, not required)
- Strong communication skills and understanding of child development
