Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Colorado Medical Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting with inbound and outbound calls to hospices, patients and you will also be aiding in medication distribution. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering exceptional health care services.
Responsibilities
- SPANISH SPEAKING PREFERRED
- 1+ experience RECOMENDED
- Inbound and outbound calls to LTC, medical offices, hospice teams regarding medication refills.
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols in all pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients regarding DME.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Strong knowledge of billing terminology and pharmacy practices.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
