Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Night Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hospitality establishment during evening hours. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all night shift team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff, ensuring they deliver outstanding service and adhere to company standards.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to guarantee quality, safety, and consistency in every dish served.
- Manage POS systems, accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management practices, including ordering, receiving, and storage to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction remains a top priority during the night shift.
- Conduct staff training sessions on food service management, customer service excellence, food safety procedures, and operational protocols.
- Assist with budgeting responsibilities, shift scheduling, and overall restaurant management to optimize operational efficiency.
- Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff development initiatives to build a motivated team.
- Collaborate with management on special events such as banquets or catering services to expand our offerings and enhance guest experiences.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food industry operations within casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Proficiency with POS systems for seamless transaction processing.
- Strong background in inventory control, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings; capable of training and developing team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations, sanitation standards, and health code compliance.
- Effective shift management abilities with experience in managing budgets, scheduling staff, and overseeing daily operations.
- Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is advantageous; familiarity with catering or banquet services is a plus.
