Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing educational activities that promote developmental milestones and classroom engagement
- Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times, ensuring a caring and safe environment
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional well-being
- Monitor children’s progress and communicate observations to teachers for tailored support
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing additional assistance as needed
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool, daycare, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment dedicated to nurturing young minds
