- Maintains radiologic services in accordance with standards established by ODA and with Federal, State and local standards which may apply.
-Responsible for the technical aspects of radiologic safety.
-Responsible for existing equipment and such contractual services as may be required.
-Responsible for stock level, storage and utilization of equipment and supplies.
-Preparation of reports, documents, statistical surveys and other data required.
-Operates X-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
-Ensures that results are correctly entered into the EMR system, that they are assigned correctly and that the ordering provider is aware of abnormal results in a timely manner.
-Acts as a liaison between ODA and the radiologist who reads the x-rays.
Qualifications and Skills
-NYS DOH License (AART)
- High school graduation or equivalent
