- Communicating with referring dental offices regarding referrals, records, x-rays, and patient needs
- Helping manage the flow of patient information before the appointment so visits run smoothly
- Assisting with insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and treatment estimates
- Collecting copays and patient portions at the time of service
- Submitting insurance claims and supporting basic claim follow-up
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Supporting the office manager and clinical team with daily administrative needs
- Helping ensure every patient has a clear, calm, and positive experience from first phone call to final checkout
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Is kind, calm, and professional with patients
- Is highly organized and attentive to details
- Can manage multiple priorities without losing warmth
- Is comfortable discussing scheduling, insurance, and patient financial responsibility
- Enjoys being part of a small, private practice team
- Is dependable, coachable, and willing to grow
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of dental front office experience preferred
- Experience with insurance verification, claims, scheduling, and patient communication preferred
- Specialty dental experience, especially endodontics or oral surgery, is a plus but not required
Schedule:
- Part-time, 2–3 days per week, with potential for additional days
- Office hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- No nights and no weekends
Compensation:
- $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
- Bonus opportunities based on meeting office goals
- Room to grow as responsibilities and skills advance
