Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic/CDL Driver to join our team. This position combines hands-on mechanical work with commercial driving responsibilities to support the safe operation, maintenance, and transportation of trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles and equipment while safely transporting materials and equipment as needed. This role involves both shop and field service work and requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to transport materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical or safety issues.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues on trucks and equipment.
- Assist with field repairs and service calls as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, vendors, and customers in both English and Spanish.
- Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor as needed.
- Experience with preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently.
- Clean driving record and commitment to workplace safety.
- Welding, hydraulic, or equipment repair experience is preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
