Role Description
The Resume Sourcer is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying candidates to build a strong talent pipeline supporting ACE Consulting's field operations and federal construction contract engagements. This role focuses on sourcing rather than full-cycle recruiting — finding qualified candidates efficiently and passing well-vetted profiles to hiring managers and recruiters for further evaluation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively source candidates through job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter), Boolean search, and niche industry databases relevant to construction and federal contracting talent.
- Screen resumes against role requirements, with particular attention to federal project experience (USACE, NAVFAC, GSA), relevant certifications, and government documentation familiarity.
- Conduct initial outreach to passive candidates and gauge interest, availability, and basic qualification fit.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (Bullhorn).
- Track sourcing metrics (pipeline volume, source effectiveness, conversion rates) and report regularly to Talent Acquisition leadership.
Purpose
Eliminate the initial step of sourcing qualified candidates for recruiters. If done effectively, it will not only help build our internal sourcing system (ATS: Bullhorn) but will also give the recruiters back much needed time to be able to manage their current onsite staff and current bench of prospects that are not currently on projects.
Success Metrics
- Volume and quality of qualified candidates delivered per role.
- Pipeline turnaround time for priority positions.
- Candidate-to-interview conversion rate.
- Accuracy of federal-experience screening (avoiding false positives from commercial-only candidates).
Work Location
We are seeking applicants who would be able to work at our Louisville, KY (40243) office location or at our Nicholasville, KY (40356) office location. Minimal travel between offices is required.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
