Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping or carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Follow brand standards and safety procedures diligently to promote a healthy environment
- Respond promptly to guest or resident requests for additional services or assistance with a friendly attitude
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to uphold cleanliness standards and report any maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial work, custodial services, hotel housekeeping, or residential cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry processes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently
- Prior experience with housekeeping is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and prolonged periods of activity
