Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, gas engines, general auto
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, and shock & strut replacements, engine replacements, upgrades, etc
- Fabricate custom parts or modifications using power tools and welding equipment to meet specific repair needs
- Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues on automotive systems
- Reassemble vehicles with precision using hand tools and ensure all repairs meet safety standards
- Assist with customer service by explaining repairs performed and providing maintenance advice
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in diesel engine repair and automotive diagnostics
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques including welding, soldering, and metalworking
- Experience working with vehicle maintenance is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent hand tool skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
