Join our dynamic team as a Parts Delivery Specialist/Parts Professional, where you'll be the vital link between our automotive parts inventory and our valued customers. This energetic role combines customer service excellence with efficient parts management and delivery, ensuring that every vehicle receives the right components promptly. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive customer satisfaction and streamline our operations, making a tangible impact on vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to customers, repair shops, and internal departments, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist customers and technicians at the parts counter by properly disbursing and selling automotive parts and accessories, utilizing strong communication skills to understand their needs.
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts shelves accurately using the CDK inventory management system.
- Process sales transactions efficiently through POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate order fulfillment records and assist in inventory audits to ensure stock levels meet operational demands.
Skills
- Experience in delivery, cashiering, retail sales, inventory management, and cashiering within an automotive dealership or parts store environment.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and vehicle maintenance techniques.
- Prior experience with CDK software is advantageous.
- Effective negotiation skills to upsell products while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while maintaining professional phone etiquette during customer interactions.
- Organizational skills necessary for delivery schedule, stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean work environment; experience with dealership operations is preferred but not required.
