Full-Time LPN or RN – Busy Neurology Practice - Join Our Growing Neurology Team
Athens Neurological Associates, P.C. is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy and fast-paced neurology practice full time.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, thrives in a collaborative clinical environment, and is able to balance efficiency with excellent patient care.
Position Summary
The LPN/RN will assist physicians and clinical staff in providing high-quality care to neurology patients in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include patient triage, clinical documentation, medication management, coordination of care, and assisting with in-office procedures and infusion-related services as needed.
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for provider visits
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories
- Perform telephone triage and respond to patient messages
- Coordinate prescriptions, prior authorizations, and medication refills
- Assist physicians with procedures and clinical care
- Provide patient education regarding medications and treatment plans
- Communicate with pharmacies, hospitals, and outside providers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support infusion and specialty medication workflows when needed
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies and quality standards
Qualifications
- Current Georgia LPN or RN license in good standing
- Previous clinical experience preferred; neurology experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- EMR experience preferred
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
