Duties of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including workshops; directing undergraduate and graduate theses; advising undergraduate and graduate students; and contributing to the creative and intellectual life of the department through individual and collaborative initiatives.
Candidates must be capable of teaching a range of courses and workshops, as well as literary subject area courses for general education students, undergraduate english majors and graduate students.
The ideal candidate demonstrates experience and versatility in inclusive pedagogy.
We are especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to creating a more equitable global society that supports diverse cultural experiences through their teaching, research, and service.
Selected candidate will maintain an active research and publishing agenda.
Candidate will also be required to perform departmental and university committee service, attend in-person meetings and events (i.e. commencement), and maintain a schedule for professional development.
