Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre-licensed Therapist (MFT/LPC) to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and creating personalized treatment plans
- Provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, among other appropriate modalities.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage crisis situations with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Support clients including children, including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained licensure as an Associate MFT (Marriage and Family Therapist) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) working towards eligibility for full licensure in Idaho.
- Experience or training in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, CBT, SFBT, among other appropriate modalities.
- Interest in getting training or already trained in EMDR or Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, medical terminology, and electronic health records systems
- Strong skills in crisis management, behavior management, patient assessment, and medical documentation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and work effectively within a collaborative environment.

Pay: $29,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
